A fine considered piece on Gradwell's extensive tours of Italy made in residence... ' I spend time and Seasons there to respond to the shifting light. I believe this one is a good example beyond expressing the Summer months. Winter Months bring storms. I attempted to capture the place lit by Lightning flashes in the dark, withinin one 'split second', moment. Something beyond photographic recall, almost Cimenagraphic time .'. A. M. Gradwell.
