A fine mid 20th Century impressionist harbour scene oil circa 1950's, Signed lower right.

Painted wood frame 45cmx 64cm
Wonderfully painted plein air. Very atmospheric light effect of a misty morning view of boats in a harbour.
The painting has a hazy effect and clearing foggy sky give the whole canvas a subdued harmony, puncuated by the dark accent of the boats and the light points on the masts. Broad sweeps of liquid paint, expressively applied, convey the stillness of the sky and water.
Good condition.
Indistinctly signed lower right.
