About the Item
There are fields of gold where fanciful rolling hills abound, and mystical clouds carry you off into dreams where the twilight twinkles! This contemporary impressionist autumn landscape is reminiscent of a magic carpet ride empowered with the sheer pleasure of gliding off into a peaceful state of nirvana! Artist Barry DeBaun employs gentle impressionist brush strokes and muted hues to ensure a deeply restful feeling to his original oil painting. A resident of the Catskills, New York artist Barry DeBaun depicts his romantic love of the countryside and it's slower pace of life. The appreciation is mutual, having been featured in multiple publications from the area including Haywain Magazine and Hudson Valley Magazine where he was awarded "Best Artist of the Hudson Valley." His work has shown in the Albany Institute of History and Art, the Berkshire Museum of Fine Art and the Springfield Museum of Fine Art as well as the Rotunda of the United States Senate.
