About the Item
This painting depicts a floating iceberg sitting on a projected pink plane. The pink is actually an underpainting that I carved back through to expose. The sides are painted, so the piece doesn't need to be framed.
Ben Watkins was born in Owensboro, Kentucky in 1977. He holds a BFA from Murray State University and a MFA from Rhode Island School of Design, both degrees in furniture design. He current lives and works in Lincoln, Rhode Island. He has been exhibited nationally and is in both public and private collections.
