Lovely 1930's oil painting depicting this view of the Austrian city of Salzburg. Superb depiction of the rooftops and surrounding countryside.
The painting - oil painting on canvas - is by the French female artist, Berthe Dumas and dated 1934. The work was exhibited at the prestigious "Salon de l'Union des Femmes Peintres et Sculpteurs" and has their label verso with the paintings details.
The work is in overall good condition, though has a few minor scuffs and small flecks of paint loss. The canvas measures 21.5 x 25.5 inches. It came from a private collection in Paris, France.
