In 1985, her work was acquired by the renowned Deutsche Bank Collection in Germany, followed by a prestigious acquisition by the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Bonn, Germany, in 1987. After numerous prestigious private and public acquisitions, her fame was revalidated in 2011, as she achieved a notable prize at the Florence Biennale. These public acquisitions and accolades underscore the enduring allure and impact of her art, captivating audiences and art enthusiasts worldwide. Bettina Mauel was born 1959 in Wuppertal, Germany. She studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with Professor Gerhard Richter and lives in Cologne, Germany. In 1984 she was asked by the city of Wuppertal, Germany to paint scenes of the dance theater of Pina Bausch. This had a major influence on the selection of themes in her imagery. Instead of focusing on spectacular poses, she honed in on the in-between: feelings, thoughts, and fears.     Kathleen Keifer is a California-based internationally collected artist. She is a leading force of the New California Realism. With a high level of technical virtuosity Keifer creates a new sense of reality with textures and colors that seem to add lighting effects and distinct shadows, confronting the viewer with new interpretations of familiar objects.     Cuban-American artist Frankie Alfonso creates interwoven paintings using lively colors and spontaneous, well-balanced compositions. His work is best described as a style of automatic writing where he manipulates simple lines to make complex arrangements of balance and harmony. His style is a mix of cubism, cartoon animation, surrealism, graffiti, and abstract expressionism. This large original graffiti-inspired artwork is 57 inches high by 80 inches wide. He first found inspiration in comic books and enjoyed drawing his favorite superheroes from an unconventional perspective. As a teenager, he started to experiment with oils, and acrylics and took his passion for art to the canvas. Even after painting for over 20 years, he still pushes the boundaries while experimenting with mixed media, including oil, acrylic, gouache, and spray paint. Alfonso attended art school in Tampa, Florida, and traveled Europe for several years in search of inspiration and his own unique voice in art. Alfonso used his in-depth studies of European Masters and was inspired by Picasso, Braque, Klee, Dali, Basquiat, De Kooning, and Matisse. The joyful expressions of his artworks resonate in a positive light and inspire creative thinking and innovation.
