This is a one of a kind original impressionist seascape by San Diego artist, Brian Belfield. Its dimensions are 43"x25". It is framed. A certificate of authenticity will follow its delivery.
Belfield uses an impasto painting technique where he thickly layers the paint onto the canvas. Each painting represents a specific time and place, painted impressionistically with emphasis on the real rather than the ideal. They typically feature harmonious color and a strong value structure. He finds himself intrigued by the great volumes of shadow created by sea cliffs, the chaos and complexity of a sycamore tree, and the incessant motion of ocean waves.
