This is an original painting by Christina Sadler also known as Maker Who Doesn't Make. This painting has been created with shades of pinks and raspberry reds and cooling greys. Layers and areas of interest have been built up through the use of inks, acrylics and pastels. Christina is inspired by the natural world, and how its uncertainty is similar to what people experience in day to day life. The way she creates paintings mimics this; sometimes she allows the paint to flow, other times she controls its movements. Her intention is to make soothing calming paintings that have a connection with the viewer. Therefore, she doesn't stipulate exactly what should be seen but gives prompts. She says "I've called it "Undisturbed Calmness". Everything is settling, things are quiet. Not everything can be seen but you feel composed and know that at this moment you won't be disturbed, you are where you need to be.
