Christopher Osborne grew up in Margate, Kent and became a professional artist in 1974. He is self-taught and his fine oil paintings display a sensitive observation of the moods, seasons and weather to be found in the English countryside. Osborne has exhibited with the Royal Institute and his work is held in private collections in the UK and the USA.
