About the Item
The painting was painted from life in the last days of August, when the trees are still green, but the first hints of yellow are already appearing on the leaves. We see a street in an old European city. To the left, a stone monastery wall is visible, behind which a tree grows. The sun illuminates the steps of the cathedral. Beyond the tree are houses with red tiled roofs. The blue sky is slightly covered with a haze of clouds. It is a sunny day. The tree casts a delicate shadow on the white monastery wall. The sun glistens in the windowpanes of the house.
The work is painted in a style close to impressionism.
The painting is unframed. The sides are unpainted. It would make a wonderful gift and would decorate a living room, dining room, nursery, or study.

In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
