About the Item
This painting depicts an ancient Bavarian town at night. A blue night sky dominates the entire scene. The deserted town is illuminated by lanterns. The few windows and display cases on the ground floors are lit. The clock face of the medieval town hall glows. Trams are not running at this time of day, and the light from the lanterns is reflected in the tracks. The sky is pierced by the pointed silhouettes of the town hall tower and the chimneys on the tiled roofs.
The painting conveys the romantic and dreamy mood of the night, a sense of relaxation after the day gone by, and the anticipation of the coming day, when people will awaken and once again fill the streets.
The painting is unframed. The sides are unpainted. It makes a wonderful gift and can also decorate the interior of a living room, dining room, study, or office.

In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
