About the Item

Gibara, Guba – Good to get out of the city once in a while – out to the country and see life in the village – el pueblo. Gibara is a quiet town on the east side of the island about a half hour drive from Holguien, Life moves at a different pace in the country and, in the western part of the island, horses are not only used for work but also as a means of public transport. Here, one waits patiently while another pulls a cart along a quiet street. Little by little – poco a poco… Shipping and Handling: We ship Worldwide. For Domestic and International shipments alike, we use heavy, thick-walled UPS and FedEx Approved shipping tubes to ship all items that are rollable. For items that cannot be rolled, we pack the item flat. Attention International Buyers, Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. After attending the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art, Grauer received a four year scholarship from the City of Philadelphia to pursue post graduate work. It was during this time that Grauer began working as a designer at the Decorative Stained Glass Co. in Philadelphia.
