Black Necked Stilt, by one of the finest American contemporary realist painters, Willard Dixon, who has painted western landscapes and nature-scenes for 35 years, capturing the undeniable beauty of the West with its grand and humble spirit. This painting depicts a Black Necked Stilt walking through a marsh or bog. It is a quiet and contemplative early morning scene in water grey, blue, white and green-brown.
