Overall Size: 38 1/4" x 32 1/2"
Some light discoloration to the linen liner. The painting itself, is in excellent condition.
Mildred Eileen Jones was born in 1930 in Baltimore, MD. She lived her early adult life in Long Island, NY where she operated a commercial gallery. She eventually moved to Hawaii where she operated a commercial gallery in Princeville on the island of Kauai. She later moved to the island of Maui where she died on Oct 21, 2003.
Her early work was mostly of a French impressionist style and some still life work. Many of her paintings were signed “EJones”. However, in late 60’s and the 70’s she also signed as “Montrec”.
