This lush expressionist landscape offers layer upon layer of depth of subject matter, color and impasto texturing as the light perm3ates the composition. Ranging in intensity and value of color from pastel to vivid, the contents' whimsy adds adventure. A joyous, contemporary oil painting, this original work of art would be suitable for any transitional space. It is 39x49 as framed in a slightly distressed. elegant antique gold frame which would lend it appropriate for a traditionally designed room calling out for a pop of color. Prior to migrating to the United States, Maziarz was appointed, by the Ministry Committee of Culture of Warsaw, Poland, as a member of the prestigious Polish Organization of Artists; while still a resident of Poland, Maziarz taught art at some of the leading Polish universities. Now he paints full time and resides in the United States where his artwork shows across the country.
