Wonderful landscape of lady slipper flowers in Swedish landscape by actress/artist Gunnel Lindbolm (Swedish, b. 1931), circa 1980. Titled and signed on verso and lower left corner. Presented in frame under glass. Image size: 5"H x 7"W. Framed size: 8.25"H x 10"W x .50"D. Gunnel Märtha Ingegärd Lindblom (born 18 December 1931) is a Swedish film actress and director. As an actress she has been particularly associated with the work of Ingmar Bergman, though in 1965 she performed the lead role in Miss Julie for BBC Television. She also played the key-role of The Mummy in Bergman's staging of Strindberg's The Ghost Sonata in 1998-2000, a performance that earned her much critical acclaim.
