Harijs Veldre (Bullis till 1947) (1927.8.III – 1999.6.V)
Harijs Veldre learned in Riga school of applied arts (1942 – 43), in studio of L. Svemps (1942 – 44). He graduated Painting department of Latvia Art academy (1949).
Artist took part in exhibitions since 1947.
Self-exhibitions were organized in Riga (1967, 1968, 1977, 1992, 1995), Liepaja, Ventspils (both 1972), Valmiera, Saldus (both 1982), Jurmala (1988), Lapmezciems (1997).
H. Veldre was a member of Artists` Union since 1949.
He worked as a pedagogue in J. Rozentals school of art in Riga (1951 – 56, 1964 – 65).
