This piece is an original oil painting on panel by American artist Ginny GC Williams. It was painted en plein air during a painting expedition to Vermont. With vivid light and color, the artist has given us a glimpse through the trees to a long view across a field to the far mountains. Using brushstrokes and drawing into the paint, the piece is reminiscent of Japanese woodblock prints that inspire the artist.
