About the Item
Jack Hubert Bonnefoy was an English painter working in France during the last part of the 19th century through the early part of the 20th century.
He worked and travelled throughout Europe and the Uk painting the most wonderful landscapes, harbor scenes and figure studies.
His work is quite rare and few paintings come up for sale.
This is an outstanding painting, full of great thick paint, a well observed composition and excellent brush strokes which all end up in the most beautiful piece.
The frame is a new English hand made Impressionist style frame.
