Oswald von Krobshofer was from 14 November 1903 pupil at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Carl von Marr, Peter Halm and Julius Exter. He worked as an artist in Munich, Berlin, Naumburg, Leipzig and Miltitz near Leipzig. He was a member of the German Kunstgenossenschaft and the Metznerbund Tetschen.
