About the Item
There are places that remain with us, even when they can no longer be reached.
This painting captures one of them — a quiet beach in southern Ukraine, once familiar and now only living in memory.
Through color and motion, I sought to convey the wind, the rhythm of the sea, and the chaos of feelings that arise when something dear becomes distant.
The lilacs on the shore are a symbol of hope — a reminder that spring will return, and with it, the possibility of seeing this place again.
About series
This painting is from the "Hope" series, where the idea of preserving one's identity despite challenging circumstances is conveyed, as well as the hope for a return to peaceful life. In her work, Ksenia does not depict the pain of internal conflict. Instead, she seeks points of support to rise and move forward, to help others rebuild their lives.

Ksenia Tsyganyuk, born in 1991 in northern Russia, began her artistic career after moving to Rivne, Ukraine. Her paintings—landscapes and still lifes—capture a joyful, childlike sense of wonder through vibrant colors, rich textures, and ornamental details. With a touch of naïveté in her imagery, she seeks to awaken the viewer’s “inner child,” reminding them of how beautiful the world is when one is free from expectations, eager to explore, and ready to experiment. In today’s fast-changing and stressful world—marked by crises, wars, and forced migration—it’s easy to lose balance and feel overwhelmed. Ksenia’s art offers a moment of respite, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their own feelings of lightness and freedom. She hopes to rekindle the emotions of childhood, when one feels safe, at home, and surrounded by love. Her goal is to create art that helps people reconnect with their inner Sun—the light that guides them through life.
Ksenia works in mixed media, blending acrylic and oil on canvas. She favors a loose, expressive style that preserves the spontaneity of each brushstroke, allowing emotions to flow freely onto the canvas.Education
