- Baitfish, original 34x34 figurative marine landscapeLocated in Spring Lake, NJShe grew up summering at the beach, hanging around with the seagulls as her parents watched her from underneath their striped beach umbrella, not far back in the sand from the lifeguard's chair. A budding student of the ocean, she does not hesitate to challenge the seagulls as they dive into the surf for their next meal . . . the baitfish! The turquoise and kelly green waters are radiant as the white tide plays off of the seagulls. Adding to that is the tension and excitement created by the bright, midday light, touches of impressionist's impasto paint application and abstractions of sections of the tide. Noted artist Joseph Sundwall...Category
