Frame was hand made by the artist.
A local Californian Artist, Hvasta is largely self taught. His paintings have been shown in Benedict Castle and Arlington Library in Riverside; Sherwood High School in Anaheim; art museums in Oregon; and several pictures have been in museums featuring religious art on the East Coast. Hvasta created many paintings using water colors, oils, and tempera. Most of the paintings are displayed in frames which are designed and made by the artist. Unusual colors in the frames are created by aging the wood and adding almost no color or finish to it.
