Norfolk School artist from the 19th century
the artist clearly inspired by John Constable's free approach to clouds
oil on wood panel, framed in antique gilt frame which is most likely original to the painting
framed: 22 x 24 inches
panel: 15 x 15.5 inches
provenance: private collection, England. The stencil marks on the back are from an old Christies auction in London.
condition: good and sound condition to the painting; the frame is antique plaster and thus liable to damage during transit, as such we cannot warranty its condition.
