This is a very soft semi abstract landscape painting of a wooded scene. The artist uses the woods as a vehicle to allow color itself to sing in this soft glory. The piece is layered color by color and painted on a wood panel which then is actually scraped with tools to create more visual interest.
It calms the eye and allows the viewer to envision a place of peace and calm.
