Patrice Marchal
Born in Abidjan in 1963, Patrice Marchal spent his childhood in Morocco. This look accustomed to wide open spaces, the vast blue sky and distant horizons, the artist will transport them to France and transpose them into other landscapes, in the tradition of the painters of the Barbizon School. A self-taught painter, Patrice Marchal paints in complete freedom, opening himself up to everything and marveling at the beauty of the nature that surrounds us ! Each work is a personal, universal and timeless invitation. You can smell the tall grass, contemplate the horizon at the end of your path, breathe the fresh air of your poppy fields.
