About the Item

The title of the race Queens Plate day has since been changed to Kings Plate day in honor of King Charles III. But the race still holds the same historic and prestigious value as it did. It takes place inside of the famous Woodbine Racetrack in Canada, and the royal family is expected to visit every year to watch the races. Williams is a well known and respected equine artist and once was the official paddock painter of Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington Kentucky. A spot that many sporting artists covet and hope to one day be in that seat. Signed, Oil on Canvas
