About the Item
This painting is a reflection of the ephemeral nature of movement and the interaction of light with form. The betta fish floating in space becomes a symbol of the fluidity and changeability of time, its veiled fins resembling waves of light dissolving into the surrounding space. Deep contrasts and soft shimmers of color create a sense of weightlessness and immersion in a world where the boundaries between reality and illusion are blurred.
The work explores the theme of a transient moment captured in color and form. It is a dialog between light and shadow, between movement and rest, between the visible and the elusive. The painting invites the viewer to stop and experience a moment as fleeting as light sliding across the surface of water
