Roman Goss, born in 1980, is an artist whose journey through the realms of art has been marked by dedication, exploration, and a profound passion for self-expression. His formal education in the arts commenced at the High School of Culture and the Arts, where he honed his skills under the guidance of instructors while simultaneously pursuing independent studies. Immersed in a rich cultural environment, Goss's interests extended beyond painting to encompass music, theatre, and various forms of artistic expression.
It wasn't until 2017, however, that Goss fully committed himself to painting, realising that art was an indispensable part of his being. Delving into the techniques of oil painting, he delved into the works of old masters, immersing himself in the intricacies of their craft. He frequented art exhibitions and museums, seeking inspiration and refining his artistic vision.
Initially drawn to landscapes, Goss's artistic journey took a profound turn as he discovered the liberating world of abstract painting. Even now, painting continues to be a vital part of my life, allowing me to translate my experiences and emotions onto canvas.
