Artist Shiela Finch portrays a serene summer morning along the San Francisco Bay. "As the sun's warmth spreads inland, a refreshing ocean breeze transforms the place into a thrilling arena for sailing races," says Sheila. The scene is set with a lifting veil of fog, golden sunlight, and vibrant sailboats departing from Sausalito into the heart of the estuary.

About the Artist
Sheila spends many hours studying clouds from the cockpit of her sailboat on the California coast. She's frequently blessed with beaming sunrises and storms that create beautiful displays of light streaming across the ocean or shimmering off the nearby coastal mountain range. Sheila's award-winning paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe. She has received recognition from the National Arts Appreciation Program, and her work has been exhibited at the prestigious L'Espace Bateau Lavoir in Paris.
