About the Item
In this piece, I poured my soul into capturing the magical nighttime glow of Turgenevskaya square during the New Year. The shimmering lights and gentle reflections evoke warmth and hope, blending the realism of the scene with the dreamy touch of impressionism. I wanted this painting to bring a festive, lively energy to your home, reminding you that even in the coldest nights, light and joy prevail.
My favorite season in Moscow is the New Year holidays. Snow, the city is decorated with colorful lights, New Year trees appear, the city comes to life on the eve of miracles. The feeling of immersion in dreams when dreams come true.

Simon Kozhin
Committed to the Russian realistic school, graduate of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, he aspires for absolute fidelity in reproducing the reality. 1988/90 A student of the art school in Krasnaya Presnya district of Moscow.1990/97 A student of Moscow Academic Art Lyceum attached to the Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow. His graduation drawings were illustrations for Academician Platonov's The Course of Russian History rated as “excellent". As a result, Kozhin was attested as having finished a full course of general and professional education.1997/03 A student of Ilya Glazunov's Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Moscow.
