Abstract landscape in Normandy in grey, black, white and ocher tones.
The artist explores the frontiers of abstract expressionism. The landscape evolves in modulations with blurred contours, to suggest volumes more than to draw a precise pattern. The palette, in muted tones, suggests more than it imposes a similar construction. Abstract landscape, the Norman universe with its plots of fields.
The edges of the painting are painted which allows you not to put a frame, however the painting comes with a black American box. Oil and knife painting, very material.
