Very finely executed original micro mosaic painting by the Florentine artist Telesforo Franchino. Condition is excellent. Circa 1960. Signed verso. Gold leaf gallery frame with white linen liner in fine condition. Overall framed measurements are 9.5 by 10 inches. Provenance: A Sarasota, Florida collector.
Telesforo Franchino was born in Turnin, Italy in 1892. He is known for his micro mosaic scenes of Italy especially of Venice and Florence. He also was a traditional painter as well. He died in 1964.
