Thorgrimur Einarsson transitioned from music composition to painting after discovering the medium while studying at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. The self-taught artist creates oil paintings on linen canvas, focusing on landscapes—particularly those of his native Iceland—alongside still life and figurative subjects. Einarsson employs the Alla Prima technique, completing most works within one to two days to maintain freshness and spontaneity.
