Large 19th century view of families at Littlehampton, oil on panel by John W Eyres. Excellent quality and condition of the Royal Acdemy painters work and an early historical account of the beach as Victorian families in summer attire picnic and play on the sand. Signed, Painted circa 1885. Presented in its original antique gilt frame handmade specifically for the piece.
