Beautiful Impressionist landscape of the Alhambra, California cathedral surrounded by green, yellow and orange trees next to a river, by unknown artist I. Mozaiskaya (Russian, 20th Century). This 1996 depiction of Saint Steven's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral was painted by a Russian artist in America.

Saint Steven's Serbian Orthodox Cathedral was built in Alhambra, CA in 1949, and was proclaimed “The Cathedral of the Pacific.” Saint Steven’s Cathedral is unique in its architectural detail; a mixture of artistic motifs taken from many Serbian Orthodox monasteries and churches built in the early Middle Ages. The interior of the church is abundantly decorated with murals. It has now become a landmark in Southern California.
