Oil on Canvas. North Italian school of the 18th century.
The landscape, set on the bank of a wide river, features several figures of peasants in the center intent on picking fruit from a tree: a girl holds a ladder while the boy cuts a bunch, on the left another couple lays the harvested fruit in a tub.
All around a vast green countryside and a few cottages.
Restored and re-tinted, the painting is presented in frame in style.
