This atmospheric painting captures an expansive highland landscape with a stone bridge spanning a tranquil river in the foreground. The artist's skilful use of light and shadow adds depth to the scene, drawing the viewer's eye from the rocky riverbank through the wooded middle ground, to the imposing mountain range beyond. The painting has been well presented in an ornate gilt effect frame with swept rails and elaborate floral and acanthus mouldings. Signed to the lower right. On canvas.

He is represented by Charles Morin Fine Art in Fredericksburg, Texas. Degrees in chemistry from Southern Methodist University (B.S.) and the University of Texas (PhD) led to Chuck's career in research at ExxonMobil Process Research Labs in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
