Vintage 1920's California landscape of a path through tall evergreen trees with the grand Sierra mountains in the background by listed female artist Willamean Soderberg Tufts (American, 1874-1946). Signed "Willamean S. Tufts" lower right. Unframed. Image size: 24" H x 18" W.
Born in Illinois on Sept. 9, 1874. Tufts was a long-time resident of Orange County, CA. She died there on Dec. 15, 1946. Known works include landscapes of the desert around Palm Springs.
