Henry Harris 1852 - 1926 Painter in oils and occasionally in watercolour of landscapes and rural scenes. Henry Harris was born in Cullompton in Devon, the son of a miller, and one of fifteen boys. One of his brothers, George, was also an artist. By 1872 Henry had moved to Bristol, married and was working as house painter and decorator. By 1875 he was working full time as an artist and the next three decades were to be his most productive.
