Adolphe LA LYRE: born in Rouvres in the Meuse in 1850, died in Paris in 1935. French school.
He was a student of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts where he was first awarded in 1875. He started at the Salon de Paris in 1876 and was a member of the French Artists in 1880. He won two medals at the Universal Exhibitions of 1889 and 1900.
