Alex Tschernjawski (born 1933, former Yugoslavia) lives in New York. He is ab American Postwar and Contemporary painter best known for his figurative works, portraits and street landscapes. His works have been auctioned off at such notable auction houses as Christie's London, where a "Self-portrait of the artist at his easel" sold in 2005.
