About the Item
Painted at night, a portrait of contemporary painter, Ben Fenske. Lit from above, Fenske sits in a chair, comfortably extending one leg, holding a green beverage bottle. A coat hangs on a hook to the left of him. Besides that, the interior in which Fenske sits is depicted with abstract markings, bold lines create shapes and reflect light, but the real-depiction of the room is obscured. Our focus stays on Ben.
