Rapunzel and the Prince (2016) is an original oil painting, 60x80cm by contemporary artist Annemarie Ambrosoli.
It is signed at the bottom center toward the right and on the back of the canvas.
Unframed, but ready to hang.
Certificate of authenticity included.
"Rapunzel and the Prince" is a fairy tale, in this painting the artist has depicted the figures seeming to converse with each other in a romantic moment, and the very long braid of various geometric shapes envelops the two lovers amidst multiple vibrant colors.
The sun is high in the sky and gives the feeling of warmth.
Colors used are light blue, blue, red, ochre, yellow, purple, pink, green, white.
