About the Item

"UNVEILED DUALITY A visual interplay of contrasting elements Never having considered myself an abstract thinker, I am delving into very unfamiliar territory with my newest series – UNVEILED DUALITY . Drawing inspiration from Robert Mapplethorpe and Pablo Picasso, a most unlikely pairing of two artists, I am searching for a balance between the detailed accuracy of photo-realism and the abstract, geometric forms of cubism – a balance of harmony and tension that exists amongst highly contrasting elements. The finished paintings are a dynamic visual experience where the duality exists on many levels. As my personal experiences and emotions impact the work, I hope to elicit a similar reaction from the viewer and establish a meaningful connection between my art and its audience." This Painting will be shipped directly from the artist's studio.
