About the Item
"Union Street in Bloom" is an impressionist oil painting of pink tree in spring. Florence depicts a bright day on Union Street in Sag Harbor, New York. The trees on the street are waking up again, the cherry blossom exploding with puffy pink flowers. A crosswalk bisects the street across the way, leading from one sidewalk to the next, approaching the famed John Jermain Memorial Library (just out of frame).

Amy Florence is a London born artist working out of her studio in Florence, Italy. She trained at the Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence where she went on to teach the advanced painting and drawing programs for 5 years. In November 2014 she set up Studio Donatello. Now, she divides her time between painting and commissions.
