Marcel Demagny
"Light" ("Lumière"), Yellow Bouquet on Greyscale Background Squared Oil Painting

2017

$2,540.80

About

This bouquet is a classical composition from Marcel Demagny : geometric and minimalist perspective à la Bernard Cathelin, a falling petal which (paradoxically) provides life to the painting, and brightly colored flowers which are enhanced by a grey scale background. An artwork at the edge between abstraction and realism. This piece is not framed. Marcel Demagny is a French artist, former architect, mostly influenced by Nicolas de Staël, Pierre Ambrogiani and Bernard Cathelin.
