From Eduardo Rezende’s new series Rilievo, this photograph treats the skin of architecture as a sculptural field. Curved partitions fold into one another, casting measured shadows that read like a bas-relief; planes advance and recede, and the wall becomes a drawing of thresholds. The restrained mineral palette keeps the eye on structure and cadence, allowing the geometry to breathe.
Printed as an archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Cotton Canvas, the image has a tactile, almost cast quality—where photography approaches sculpture and memory settles on the surface.
