Dicky’s images have enthralled many and have given him a following worldwide. Institutions and individuals alike seek out his knowledge on wildlife and habitats. He has lent his expertise to BBC, National Geographic and many very well-known wildlife photographers.
If Dicky were a painter he would be known as a colourist. He has an incredible understanding of light and how it plays with the colours in Nature. At exhibitions viewers are always asking if the images are backlit as Dicky's extraordinary ability to capture light in his images is second to none.
Aditya Dicky Singh has been photographing in and around Ranthambhore National Park in India for over 20 years. He also leads photography groups to Africa and South America. His is an active member of a small band of experts proactively ensuring the health of the Tiger population in the National Park in India and at the same time the survival of the smaller communities whose livelihoods depend on the same land. Through his lens he has documented generations of families of Tigers, learning behaviours and understanding their role in the wider context of the Forest. His knowledge is vast, not only of big cats but the other flora and fauna that co-exist in this special place.
