A glued and typed caption at the back read: "Sur les plages anglaises, les mouettes sont si familiaires qu'elles viennent chercher leur nourriture aux mains memes des baigneuses". (On English beaches, seagulls are so familiar that they come to seek their food from the very hands of swimmers).
The piece will be shipped in a mat (17 x 13 in.) that fits a standard-sized frame.
